Virat Kohli honoured

The DDCA honoured India captain Virat Kohli in a special function at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium where a stand was named after the Indian cricketer at the Feroz Shah Kotla. The 30-year-old is now the youngest active cricketer to be bestowed with such honour. Sachin Tendulkar had a stand named after him at the Wankhede in 2002, while MS Dhoni has a stand named after him in the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi. Kohli has more than 20,000 international runs for India and his talent came to fore during his Ranji Trophy days playing for the state of Delhi.
